I’m an Integrative Counsellor, and before that I was a teacher for nearly twenty years. I know the particular weight school work can carry — and I know, too, how universal the quieter struggles are: the unhelpful thinking that won’t shift, the grief of a life not going the way you hoped, the slow erosion of confidence, the tiredness that rest alone doesn’t touch.

How I work

I use an integrative approach — blending Gestalt and Psychodynamic therapy with elements of Person-Centred and CBT. This means I adapt the work to meet your individual needs, combining in-depth emotional exploration with practical tools for change.

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounding. I aim to help you feel both supported and gently challenged, so you can make meaningful shifts in your life. Humour, compassion and empathy are central to how I work — counselling doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time; moments of lightness and shared humanity can be just as healing.
